The kids fought the good fight between night and day; as always happens in the fall, night got the best of them! Amy celebrated her birthday with beautiful cupcakes made by John, and the kids celebrated with a No-Adults Hike (courtesy of the new walkie talkies - and one heck of a huge caterpillar!
